The need for value-based management in healthcare is well established and few doubt its usefulness. The Nordic Healthcare Group (NHG) has been actively promoting value-based management in healthcare for years, and their key message is “start measuring outcomes”.

On Wednesday, 18 November 2020 at 13.30-14.45, the Nordic Health Group will host their session on ‘Value-based management of healthcare organisations’ with Paulus Torkki, Senior Partner; Riikka-Leena Leskelä, Research Director; and Laura Pitkänen, Senior Advisor.

The session will focus on what value-based healthcare means on an organisational level, what kind of changes it requires, and what kind of support healthcare organisations need in implementing it. During the session, some case examples and group exercises based on experiences on implementation projects will also be discussed.
